Walking paths with quick access to the scenic coastline of surrounding Oso Bay

As a homeowner you can jog along two verdant hike and bike trails which are planned to connect with the city's 12-mile long trail – enabling you to easily go from Terra Mar to South Padre Island Drive, downtown to the convention center, the university or the Naval Air Station. You can wander along walking paths that connect several of the neighborhoods in Terra Mar – with thousands more feet of pathways planned that will meander throughout our community, connecting all our neighborhoods.

Parks and Open Spaces

Perhaps the most alluring attraction we have to offer is the planned Regional Park, which will be adjacent to our neighborhood and will offer 160 acres of beautiful nature trails, beaches, wetlands and more – affording you even more opportunities to get active. Fishing, hiking, kayaking, bird watching and other outdoor activities will be just minutes away from your front door. Further plans for the park include signs along the walkways that will teach you about the local ecology and wildlife, a birding platform with an observation deck, an amphitheater, a kayak launch, a playground, wildflower gardens and many other features.
