  • Are there additional options for the floor plans -- can a closet or bathroom be added?
  • Can appliances be upgraded?
  • Do you offer a warranty program?
  • Can someone provide estimated taxes on the property?
  • Are there any major development plans for the area in the next 5 years?
  • Will you provide regular updates on the construction status of our home?
  • Is there a clear change order process, if I want to make changes during construction?
  • Do you belong to a local and national builders association?

You should also consider issues specific to building new homes in Corpus Christi – due to our balmy climate and ever-changing weather conditions.

Ultimately, you have the right to ask as many questions as you think are important – and you should write down some of your key questions before you begin your home search.
